IT'S OFFICIAL! We're now Sonic Labs.
On August 1, we launched Sonic Labs across all platforms as we move toward the release of Sonic, the fastest EVM chain with a secure gateway to Ethereum. Check out the new Sonic Labs splash page.
As the launch of Sonic approaches, we're eager to provide users, developers, stakers, and validators additional guidance on migrating to the new chain. Opera will continue to be supported for FTM holders.

Join us on this on-chain journey toward the Sonic launch! Explore our ecosystem's apps, collect "Sonic Shards" by completing weekly series, and earn a special reward for a full set. Launching on Wednesday, August 7.
Meme Season Round 2
We launched Meme Season's 2nd round, offering 750k FTM as sFTMx with a brand-new scoring formula, rewards distribution, and eligibility criteria. Also, providing liquidity with memecoins now counts you as a holder.
Sonic Labs x OpenBlock
We announced OpenBlock as one of our key partners for our 190,500,000 S airdrop on Sonic. OpenBlock will manage and oversee our points and airdrop designs and provide anti-Sybil protection.
Sonic Labs x Alchemy
We announced our partnership with Alchemy to provide developers on Opera and Sonic with robust infrastructure, public/private RPC endpoints, and up to $5k credits for Enterprise customers on Sonic.
Innovator Fund: Part 1
We began to unveil the recipients of the Sonic Labs Innovator Fund, offering up to 200M S for new ventures and top apps migrating to Sonic! Beethoven X, Debita, and Thunder Dome will be on Sonic at launch.
Innovator Fund: Part 2
We unveiled more recipients of the Sonic Labs Innovator Fund, offering up to 200M S for new ventures and top apps migrating to Sonic! Equalizer, PaintSwap, and SilverSwap will be on Sonic at launch.
Gas-Free Trading Program
We launched the Gas-Free Trading Program. Until October 20, we'll sponsor up to 10 DEX transactions per user on Rabby Wallet! Only for new wallets or those inactive for 90 days before July 22.
Meme Season Round 1 Winners
We announced the winners of Meme Season's 1st round! HOOPS won 600k sFTMx, THC won 300 sFTMx, and sGOAT won 100k sFTMx. 80% of the prize went to memecoin holders.
Sonic Validator Migration
Our 4th Sonic proposal PASSED, accelerating validator and stakeholder transition to Sonic. We'll boost Gas Monetization revenue to as much as 90%, improve staking period, and migrate Opera block rewards to Sonic.
