Sonic Labs and Bitskwela Bring Blockchain Education to the Philippines

We’re excited to announce our partnership with Bitskwela to accelerate the mass adoption of Web3 and empower communities by making blockchain technology more accessible.

Bitskwela is a Filipino-led educational technology platform dedicated to providing blockchain education to Filipinos of all backgrounds. Together, we’ll simplify complex blockchain concepts and make Sonic’s ecosystem more accessible to Filipino developers and users.

This initiative will kick off with university-driven programs, including talks, workshops, and collaborations with school organizations. By focusing on education, we aim to introduce more individuals to the transformative potential of decentralized finance and blockchain technology, ensuring that the next generation of innovators is equipped for success.

Our partnership marks a significant step in expanding blockchain education and developer empowerment in the Philippines, positioning the country as a rising force in the Web3 space.

Bitskwela in Action

On October 4, 2024, we initiated our partnership with Bitskwela’s University Roadshow starting at Mapúa University Makati.

Students explored blockchain fundamentals, crypto use cases, and were introduced to Sonic. The tour will continue throughout Q4 with upcoming visits to the University of the Cordilleras, Benguet State University, Asian College of Technology, and the University of Mindanao.
