Sonic World is our global effort to bring Sonic to life through official events, community initiatives, growth opportunities, and educational programs. We’re on a mission to spark growth and community by making Sonic accessible to developers and users everywhere.

Official Events
We regularly host official events at top conferences and key cities like Singapore, New York, and Paris. These gatherings, from coffee meetups to networking sessions, have drawn over 5,000 attendees in the past two years. Looking ahead, we’re expanding to reach even more developers and blockchain enthusiasts.
Our team attends these conferences to connect directly with users, investors, and partners. Rather than spending big on booths and sponsorships, we focus on personal, impactful interactions. This approach helps us build lasting connections and grow the Sonic network through authentic engagement.
Sonic & Sodas
Sonic & Sodas are developer-focused meetups in cities worldwide, hosted by community members and funded by Sonic Labs. These casual gatherings spark collaboration and networking opportunities for blockchain developers around the world.
By providing funding and branding, we enable local organizers to run these events independently, without the need for direct involvement from Sonic Labs. This allows us to scale rapidly, supporting numerous events in remote and diverse locations efficiently.
Sonic University
Sonic University is our educational initiative where the next generation of blockchain builders learn. We're cultivating new developers with courses in blockchain development, design, and marketing for university clubs at places like the University of Minnesota, Columbia University, and the University of Chicago.
By partnering with universities and institutions, we integrate SonicU into their curricula and plan to support them by donating Sonic validator setup fees, which can reward clubs and further decentralize our network.
We’re also planning to launch an online platform with tutorials and interactive modules to grow a global developer community, with a special focus on Latin America, India, Asia, and Africa through scholarship opportunities.
Global Communities
Global Communities are Telegram chats in different languages run by Sonic community members, connecting users and developers worldwide. Each group includes an AI bot that translates announcements into the local language, making it easy for everyone to stay informed.
By bridging language gaps and supporting developers everywhere, Sonic World fosters a truly global, collaborative community to drive the future of blockchain together.
Sonic Swag
Sonic Swag is our exclusive line of branded merchandise designed to unite the global Sonic community! With shirts, hoodies, caps, and more, it boosts brand visibility and lets fans wear their support proudly.
We empower creators by showcasing designs from Sonic artists, who receive both global exposure and payment for their work. Sonic Swag isn’t available for purchase; it’s available for free at our official events worldwide and online giveaways, including our Spaces on X.
Sonic Accelerator
Sonic Accelerator is a blend of hackathons, accelerators, and incubators to empower developers and startups within the Sonic network. We drive innovation through global hackathons — both online and in-person — where creators compete to build impactful solutions.
Beyond hackathons, our accelerator program offers promising projects mentorship from industry experts, funding from Sonic Labs, and resources to help scale. For earlier-stage projects still in development, our incubators provide builders with a supportive environment to turn ideas into viable applications with technical and strategic guidance.
