The Road to Sonic: An On-Chain Journey
We’re thrilled to launch The Road to Sonic campaign, an exciting on-chain journey designed to engage users with a variety of apps across the Opera ecosystem as we approach the Sonic launch.
In The Road to Sonic, you can collect "Sonic Shards" NFTs by completing tasks in weekly series. There are six series in total, and each one rewards you with a shard upon completion. Once you've collected all six shards, you can combine them to create an exclusive, special NFT.
Our goals are to introduce new users to our high-throughput technology, boost transactions on Opera, and generate usage of Opera apps while the Sonic mainnet is finalized.

Series 1: The Road to Sonic
The first series starts on August 7 and remains open until the end of the entire campaign. Complete the tasks below to receive the first-ever Sonic Shard NFT!
Task 1: Bridge
Use PortalBridge powered by Wormhole to transfer a minimum of 50 USDC from Ethereum to the Opera chain. Upon completion, you will receive USDC.e on Opera, our canonical stablecoin. Please note that you can only bridge USDC from Ethereum and not from any other chains.
Task 2: Estfor Kingdom
Create and name a hero in Estfor Kingdom, a blockchain game created by the PaintSwap team.
Task 3: sFTMx
Hold a minimum of 100 sFTMx, which is Beethoven X’s liquid-staked FTM token, redeemable for native FTM. The token can be freely traded and used in DeFi protocols for lending, borrowing, or earning additional yield. You can stake FTM directly on Beethoven X to receive sFTMx or swap to the token.
Task 4: X Follows
Follow Sonic Labs, Beethoven X, and Estfor Kingdom on X/Twitter.
Series 2: The Road to Sonic
The second series starts on August 14 and remains open until the end of the entire campaign. Complete the tasks below to receive the second Sonic Shard NFT!
Task 1: Lynx
Place at least one trade on Lynx using FTM as collateral, with a minimum trade size of 100 FTM. For example, you can trade using 1 FTM as collateral with 100x leverage or using 2 FTM and 50x leverage, etc.
Task 2: Estfor Kingdom
Join an existing Clan or create your own in the Estfor Kingdom blockchain game!
Task 3: sFTMx
Hold a minimum of 150 sFTMx, which is Beethoven X’s liquid-staked FTM token, redeemable for native FTM. The token can be freely traded and used in DeFi protocols for lending, borrowing, or earning additional yield. You can stake FTM directly on Beethoven X to receive sFTMx or swap to the token.

Series 3: The Road to Sonic
The second series starts on August 29 and remains open until the end of the entire campaign. Complete the tasks below to receive the third Sonic Shard NFT!
Task 1: Polter Finance
Lend or borrow at least 20 FTM on Polter Finance, a decentralized lending market.
Task 2: Degen Express
Trade at least 10 FTM in value on Degen Express, a decentralized token fair-launch platform. You must trade only newly created tokens, not those already launched off the platform!
Task 3: sFTMx
Hold a minimum of 200 sFTMx, Beethoven X’s liquid-staked FTM token, redeemable for native FTM. The token can be freely traded and used in DeFi protocols for lending, borrowing, or earning additional yield. You can stake FTM directly on Beethoven X to receive sFTMx or swap to the token.

The second series starts on September 11 and remains open until the end of the entire campaign. Complete the tasks below to receive the fourth Sonic Shard NFT!
Task 1: SpookySwap
Perform a token swap on the SpookySwap (V3) decentralized exchange with a value higher than $20.
Task 2: Estfor Kingdom
Buy an in-game item from the shop in the Estfor Kingdom blockchain game.
Task 3: sFTMx
Add liquidity to the USDC.e/sFTMx pool on Beethoven X with at least $100 worth of assets in one transaction. sFTMx is Beethoven X’s liquid-staked FTM token, redeemable for native FTM. You can stake FTM directly on Beethoven X to receive sFTMx or swap to the token.
